- Trauma and surgical interventions of the female reproductive system (for example, abortion);

- Abnormalities in the pituitary gland activity;

- The presence of a tumor in the body.

It is possible to diagnosticate hormonal imbalance with help of ultrasound investigation, blood tests of hormones, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
